Letter from Pastor Todd

    Welcome longtime friends, members, shut ins, and inquiring guests of St. Paul’s UMC.  If this is your first time checking us out, I think you will agree after taking a look that we are a small, but mighty church.

We have another busy month ahead of us!!! We hope you will join us on Sunday, August 9th as we celebrate the baptism of Nora Ann Martisofski.  All are invited and encouraged to remain after the worship service as we celebrate Nora’s baptism over a luncheon.  

Then the week after that we have cause for another celebration. We will be taking in 4 new members on Sunday, August 16th. You are invited and encouraged to come show your support to them as well. If YOU have been regularly attending worship with us and would like to officially become a member, please speak to Pastor Todd and he will set up a date to take you into full membership.

Thanks to all who came out this past Saturday to help us with our August Hoagie Sale. Thanks also for your patience as we work through the supply issues that have been occurring recently. We know how valuable your time is, so we are actively attempting to resolve the  issues that keep happening.  

As I sat reflecting about our June worship services something occurred to me...we had AT LEAST 1 visitor / guest EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY IN JUNE. That is AWESOME. I have been faithfully praying for God to send people to our church whom we can minister and disciple to.  I pray for both because not only does the church need the community to survive….the community needs the church to survive. We are on pace to hit double digit new memberships 2 years in a row...To me that is a picture of God answering prayers. I would invite you to begin praying that same prayer during your prayer time...that God would continue sending us visitors and guests that we can both minister to and disciple.
