Letter from Pastor Todd

    Welcome longtime friends, members, shut ins, and inquiring guests of St. Paul’s UMC.  If this is your first time checking us out, I think you will agree after taking a look that we are a small, but mighty church.

As I write this it is the 4th of July...it’s a very special day for our country. I’m not much for fireworks, but I am very big on celebrating the freedoms we sometimes take for granted. So from my house to yours...May you have a safe but celebrated holiday weekend.                         As I sat reflecting about our June worship services something occurred to me...we had AT LEAST 1 visitor / guest EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY IN JUNE. That is AWESOME. I have been faithfully praying for God to send people to our church whom we can minister and disciple to.  I pray for both because not only does the church need the community to survive….the community needs the church to survive. We are on pace to hit double digit new memberships 2 years in a row...To me that is a picture of God answering prayers. I would invite you to begin praying that same prayer during your prayer time...that God would continue sending us visitors and guests that we can both minister to and disciple.
