Letter from Pastor Todd

Welcome  long time friends, members, shut ins, and  inquiring guests of  St. Paul’s UMC.  If this is your first time checking us out, I think you will agree after taking a look that we are a small, but mighty church.  

If you are a member of our church, I ask that you pray this very specific prayer each day in June: Heavenly Father, it is almost summer, the part of  the year where most people go on vacation...but Lord, I pray that this summer you will lay it on  the hearts of people to draw closer to you. We  pray that our small church and all our various ministries will be the vessel in which they use to do that. Like Jabez Lord, we pray  that you will enlarge our territory, that you will grow us in number the way you have been growing us in faith. Lord...we are going to pray this prayer every day in June, then watch our church attendance grow in July and August.  While other churches attendances are dropping.  Lord, we know there are hurting people in our community; people who need to turn from the world to You...use us Lord., in a mighty way. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

If we pray that prayer God will listen and answer our prayer. In doing so, we will accomplish 3 things: we will grow, ensuring our presence in this community for years to come, we will help countless people find salvation, and last and certainly not least, we will draw attention to God, and give him all the praise and glory for growing us and allowing us to feed his sheep.
