Letter from Pastor Todd

Greetings and salutations to all of our members, guests, friends, shut ins, and visitors.

I don’t know about you, but I am sure enjoying the extra daylight. It gets more and more difficult for me to drive at night with each passing month. Bad eyesight runs in my family.  

Just a reminder, now that Holy Week is behind us our Weekly Midweek Bible Study will resume. If you haven’t joined us yet, this Wednesday would be a perfect week for you to jump in. We just finished examining the 7 churches that Jesus sent letters to...we have 5 different churches that participate in our weekly study. I asked all of the participants to examine their churches to see where on this scale of 7 churches their individual church falls.

We had some great discussion on that. It has been a very rewarding study thus far.  I hope some of you who were in attendance on Maundy Thursday took the time to look up the highly controversial television commercial that I spoke of in my message. We must be ever vigilant, for the New Testament often warns of False Teachings that will attempt to permeate not just our culture, but our homes and churches. Knowing the TRUTH is the first step to ensuring that is all we teach and learn.  

I’m excited about the upcoming sermon series in May. I’ll be honest...to date I have only selected 2 of the 4 women that will be the main “feature” each week. We will study Mary, the Mother of Jesus on Mother’s Day…that’s a given. Join us for a fresh perspective on Mothers the entire month of May.
